Chris Pugh (b. 1971, Ukiah, Ca) is an award-winning photojournalist from Ukiah, California whose work is regularly published in newspapers throughout Northern California. The pictures that he makes are diverse in that on any given day he could be taking photos of a young lady getting her nose pierced, a gathering of LGBT friends at the local watering hole, or working on a story about a celebration at one of the local Buddhist temples.

Pugh is the founder of the Ukiah Photography Club where he served as club president from 2010 until 2018. He is a founding member of the Deep Valley Arts Collective, and has taught photography in the Ukiah area and has photographed for organizations such as The Special Olympics of Northern California, Mendo Mayhem Roller Derby, and the Ukiah Chamber of Commerce.

Outside of photography, Pugh is known for his love of loose leaf tea, locally brewed craft beer, 80's heavy metal music, and his fondness for useless trivia knowledge.
